I noticed this issue on Fulgora when launching rockets, when multiple rockets launch at the exact same time (Space Platform with requests arrives in orbit), they all play their launching sound at the same time which gets BLARINGLY loud if you have multiple of them. (tested with 4 silos)
I don't know if this issue is related only to Fulgora and rocket silos but I noticed it there first.

Looking at your save with the 4 rocket silos on Fulgora, it's working as intended.
Rocket flying sound is limited to 3 instances at the same time. If you think more are playing, please record a clip with "show-recently-played-sound-info" debug option enabled and reproduction steps (if there is something special other than "x rocket silos launching at the same time"), but when I tested it, only 3 rocket sounds were playing for 4 rockets flying, as expected. Note that if the rockets start couple of ticks offset from each other the sounds can sound a little strange.
Only think I can suggest is adjusting the volume settings, rocket silo sounds are under Environment volume Sound Setting.
If it really bothers you, the sound limit can be changed using a mod (ref: https://lua-api.factorio.com/latest/typ ... #max_count).

alright, thanks for the explanation, just thought it sounded very weird and not at a common volume similar to other entities or buildings.

Rocket silo sounds are pretty big and loud in general and they have increased audible range compared to most other sounds.
In 1.1 and for a long time during development of 2.0 the sounds were unlimited and some people actually liked the crazy cacophony of many rockets flying. The limit of 3 is already a compromise.
