Platform to platform logistic

I forgot to limit the production of platform fondation on one of my ships. It has 13k in stock, is there a way to transfer these in orbit to build other ships (I'm tinkering with a class of express frigates for the nauvis/Gleba route) or do i need to ship them dirt side first ?

There is no way to directly transfer items between platforms.
