Cutting and pasting of circuit components indicate breaking connections

Post by Quarin »

TL;DR
When cutting and pasting circuit components (combinators etc), it's indicated when a wire connection breaks.

What?
Using the cut and paste function to move around circuit logic components works very well now that the wire connections stay intact. When moving the components to a location that is too far away for the wire connection to stay intact, it will not place the wire. Having an indicator that shows up that such a wire will not be placed can be very helpful feedback when 'cleaning up' more complex circuit arrangements. Especially in these more complex setups it can be hard to detect that such a wire is missing.

Why?
When moving around components in more complex setups, having a single wire missing can be very difficult to spot and can take a long time before it's being noticed. I'm currently very careful when using the feature to 'clean up' my circuits to prevent this and that's sometimes a bit tedious. Getting immediate feedback that something is breaking would make this a more relaxing affair.
This is therefore purely a QoL feature, but unless I'm missing something I think this will benefit most people who use the cut/paste feature for moving circuit components.
