TL;DR
Bassically it would be very helpful to see fluid connections when building "smart malls" — assembly lines that use the circuit network to configure the recipe. What?
The fluid connections/pipes should show (without requesting a specific fluid, i.e. they'd work like a normal pipe) whenever the "set recipe" circuit network option is set, even if there is no current recipe or the chosen recipe doesn't require fluids. Crafting machines already remember their orientation according to viewtopic.php?p=637879#p637879, so displaying the pipes also makes sense. If you're worried about forming unintended pipe connections, then perhaps they could be slightly different pipes that don't connect?
Why?
Currently, if my circuits aren't already seti g a recipe with a fluid ingredient (e.g. because the combinators are ghosts), I have to manually turn of "set recipe", then choose a recipe with a fluid. Then once I've rotated the crafting building appropriately and connected pipes up, I have to put "set recipe" back.
This is annoying.
