Why?
In comparison to the other planets, unlocking the planet and route for the shattered planet does not yield a briefing. There is also important information attached to unlocking the shattered planet that is not directly in the game.- Being able to finish the game
- Being able to set fly rather than waiting conditions for the route to the shattered planet
Some of the information is contained within the system edge Factoriopedia entry for the "solar system edge planet", but I do think that is rather well hidden. As the research and so on really point you towards the shattered planet. So maybe even having two screens, for the system edge and shattered planet would be nice.
Implementing this briefing would also alleviate/implement what's discussed in [Space Age] Make victory condition either more or less ambiguous
