Is there no Gas Mask?

A few minutes ago, I decided to try using Basic Grenades for tree removal, and they're actually very nice, and seem quite economical when each 2 Grenades can remove several trees. But I've read that Poison Capsules are good too, so I used the console to give me 100.

To my surprise, the player character isn't immune to the green clouds. I'd have expected he was wearing some kind of space suit at all times, but apparently the planet's atmosphere is completely breathable.

So... Is there a Gas Mask in the vanilla game, or some other way to make myself resistant or immune to the poison?

If you are in a vehicle you are immune to poison. Power armor also helps, simply because it generates while you are being poisoned.
There is no Gas Mask in the game, but I think it will be nice if it was added! maybe as a mod?
