Treat space platform hub like a normal chest?

There's a fun little dance that happens every time I try to grab my stuff from the hub without ditching all my bullets that's gotten tiring now (see attached video). I'd really like things to just stay in one place

I guess we're punished for trying to use it for space processing, instead of for regular cargo, that's why it doesn't have filters like other inventories ?

(With a big space station like yours, you could probably afford to keep them on belts ??)
