Make unconnected wires default to an unchecked box in combinators

Hello, I find it very confusing that when connecting i.e. a red wire to a combinator and not connecting the green wire, the checkboxes for both wires are checked, but the green one is greyed out. It always takes me several glances to see which wire is connected even though the unconnected one is greyed out.

I think it would be much clearer if the greyed out checkbox also defaults to an unchecked state.
