[2.0.15] Unable to use or place quality platform foundation parts

I have an abundance of quality steel and wire, so I made quality foundation to send to the platform to build it with. I did expect that it would become normal when placed. However, I could not find a way to place it. I tried pipet, uncommon selection from inventory screen, normal placement hoping it would work, and alt shift scroll wheel, none of these worked.

Thanks for the report. Quality foundation are not usable as you've found. They exist only to be used in recipes.

Would be nice if you can change that tho, how does it make sense that you make a better quality of something only for it to become useless?

Maybe have the platform build system automatically select the highest available quality from the platform hub's inventory. This can be part of a bigger update in the future that addresses more quality related stuff like allowing assembling machines to build with any quality that is high enough.
