Space Age frequently freezing on Linux

Hi,

I'm running Factorio Space Age on archlinux and from literally minute one, I am experiencing irregular, but quite frequent freezes out of nothing. My first ever startup already freezed like this, during the initial loading screen.
But this also occurs quite often while in game. It freezes for eternity, and i have to tab out and force close the game through Steam. This issue has been occurring on all game versions since the release of Space Age.
Usually, my primary suspicion would be my numerous mods, but it freezed even with all mods disabled during the very second startup (first one it told me i still have old mods enabled, but i disabled them all).
However, the issue still seems to be somehow related to mods, as there is a temporary fix that I am using;
after changing any of the mods setup, if I run "verify integrity of game files" in Steam, the game *seems* to be stable again, until I change anything about the Mods setup again.

I'm really lost for hope and I've included a log file in the attachment after force exiting the game on such an occasion.
I'm running on archlinux 6.11.5-arch1-1 using KDE; an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 and an AMD Radeon RX 5700.
