Show logistic storage counts in item/entity tooltips (maybe better as mod than vanilla)

TL;DR

I'd like to see the logistic storage counts for each quality of any item or entity that I hover over, the way it does now when setting a logistic request.

What?

When setting a logistic request, you can hover over any item and it shows you how many of each quality you have in the network:

I would like to see this in every tooltip, everywhere. Mousing over in my inventory, in a chest, over an entity in the world, everywhere.

Why?

Because I always want to know, and lately I've been adding personal logistics requests (without saving them) just to get this information. In remote view, I plop down a requester chest or use an existing one.

I realize the reason it's only showing up in the request UI is that otherwise there's a question of WHICH logistic network to show the information from. I suggest it uses the one the player is currently in, AND the one, if any and if different, that the current view center is in. When showing "player" and "remote" counts, it should include the name/icon of the surface on each one.
