[2.0.14] Map exchange strings not working/Map generation issues

When I use a map exchange string from my older world it does not generate the same, most noticeable differences being cliffs and Biter's nests not generating near spawn, I assumed it was an issue with map exchange strings but when I tried generating completely new maps I couldn't find a single one with cliffs near spawn even when setting the cliffs frequency and continuity to 600%.

Thanks for the report, this is not a bug. In 2.0 we changed Nauvis map generation. You can read more about it here: https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-401
