Expectation:
1. Select "create spidertron remote"
2. Select over each spidertron on planets that you want
3. Save it in the hotbar
4. Reset control of current spidertrons (as they are saved per surface)
5. Select newly created spidertron remote
6. Control each selected spidertrons on the planet that you are currently remoted view into
Reality:
1. Select "create spidertron remote"
2. Hover over each spidertron on planets
3. Save it to hotbar
4. Reset control of current spidertrons (as they are saved per surface)
5. Select newly created spidertron remote
6. Only one spidertron is saved in the item configuration, I think it's the planet that you created it at (I have somehow managed to make two work, but it wasn't consistent)
Example shown:
[2.0.13] Creating spidertron remote that works between planets is tricky

I'd like to also bring this to attention. It "looks" like a bug, since before setting the remote on the quickbar, it is able to control all spidertrons across planets (surfaces), but as soon as you set in the quickbar, only one of them remains saved. Either a bug or could be a QoL improvement in a future patch.

Yeah there's definitely some bugs in the current behavior. Documented in more obsessive detail in my report(viewtopic.php?f=7&t=121288), but TLDR the surface you're viewing when you pull it back out of your toolbar seems to be the main variable that ends up degrading it back into a 'one spidertron' remote.
