Hear me out, demolisher in vulcanus are really trivial (at least for me) you kill them and you are free of danger. In early you have these big red zone on the map who clearly spoil you from danger. It's BORING. I wanted to fear the worms and now I laugh at them.
I see at least two solutions, one simple but doesn't really fix the real problem, the other is more fun but harder for the player:
- First one is to remove the map red zone, at least I will not know exactly which worms I need to kill and new player will be surprise of this worm appear from nowhere.
- My real solution is this, worms should roam the map, but ... they gonna destroy everything right ? well I propose we got a new building that attract worms on it, it will have a circle with a very big radius, that make "sound wave" that attract the demolisher straight to it, then you could put them into strategical position on the map (to avoid the worms pass though your factory) and you could have very big defense to kill the worms there. This also offer another way to protect your factory instead of a big wall you do small very strong bastion to kill worms. (also maybe have some zone where worms can't enter to have safe starting zone, like the starting mountains we have, so worms couldn't enter mountains biome) (and worms would have a little respawn too)
So what do you think ?
