I do not want space travel and most other things from SA...

Pretty much the only things from the DLC I am interested in are the foundry, recycler, railroads, quality. I do not want anything else much if at all. Space exploration, new enemies, you name it.

So having said that, I have a question to the developers: can I get a provision for this kind of content? I'm not comfortable buying the DLC at its full price just not to interact with the vast majority of its content, even if it was possible, since as things stand, you WILL HAVE to deal with space exploration and all the other systems it provides.

Maybe a compromise like this because I understand you are unlikely to just release a new DLC with just the items I listed in the opening paragraph: I am able opt out of space travel and instead I settle on one and the only planet and play on it w/o space travel whatsoever and still have access to all the things I want; you could make continents corresponding to each of the planets to expand into on this single planet.

You can buy the DLC and disable the "Space Age Mod" to get elevated rails, recycling, quality, and nothing else.

Foundry is locked behind the Space Age Mod.

You'll have to buy the DLC to get what you want, there is no getting around that. Sooner than later mods will give you whatever playthrough you want.
