Infinite items on belt

I set a key-bind for "rotate" on "shift + scroll up" and "reverse rotate" on "shift + scroll down".
Now when hovering over a belt and (while holding shift) rapidly scrolling, the amount of items on the belt keep increasing as it keeps getting fed.
