[2.0.10] Liquid error in Electromagnetic plant while playing on an archive from the original version

Post by Shinano1026 »

Game Version: 2.0.10
Bug Information:
When I started playing after installing the new DLC, I discovered an error in Electromagnetic plant while producing Electrolyte:

Image

As can be seen in this image, Electrolyte output is mistakenly identified as Holmium solution and I cannot complete the production.

At the same time, while rotating Electromagnetic plant, I noticed that Holmium solution in Storage tank turned into Heavy oil, which made it seem like it had been contaminated:

The problematic archive has been attached.

This looks like a combination of 117336 and 117183.

I want to know when this bug will be fixed :) ; it seems I cannot produce any Electrolyte at the moment.

I ran into the same issue.

My experience is as follows. When placing an Electromagnetic Plant, if you connect pipes to it and then rotate the plant, the liquid passthrough gets messed up. Specifically, the inputs and outputs can get incorrectly assigned, which disrupts the flow of resources.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Connect a heavy oil pipe to the Electromagnetic Plant.
2. Rotate the plant.

Notice that the heavy oil input is now incorrectly connected to the electrolyte input/output. Other connections will have incorrect input/output.

My Workaround: To temporarily avoid this issue:

1. Place the Electromagnetic Plant without connecting it to any pipes.
2. Rotate it to the desired position.
3. After it’s in position, connect the pipes.

If pipes are already placed and there's no room to rotate:

1. Place the Electromagnetic Plant on the ground without connecting it to anything.
2. Rotate it to the correct position.
3. Use the cut-and-paste function to move the plant into place, allowing drones to place it.

yep, it's happening to me too. And it's not just the EM Plant that makes the Holmium solution that does this; it's also the EM plant that makes Supercapacitors.

Having the same bug. I am unable to continue playing on Fulgora (the first of the new planets I've gone to). Holmium solution is a massive bottleneck on Fulgora, and whenever my Holmium line runs out, the heavy oil seeps back out of the Electromagnetic Plant and contaminates the entire Holmium Solution pipe system. I've had to rip everything up multiple times now to clear it back out. I see it still isn't fixed in 2.0.14.

For specifics, producing Electrolyte (fluid) in an Electromagnetic Plant offers you 4 fluid inputs/outputs. If you attach heavy oil to the input, it will output heavy oil to all 3 of the other fluid outputs on the machine, and it will feed back into those pipe systems as soon as it's able to.
