[Genhis][2.0.9] Off by one bug on platform request execution

Post by orzelek »

Automated platform requests will sometimes deliver one more rocket of stuff.
Attached save has a platform Transport 1 flying to Fulgora. After it docks it will start ordering things from it's request list.
Last executed request (should be for science packs) will receive 1 more rocket (1k of them) more then requested.
One mod is not on portal but shouldn't matter for this, quality plus mod will be required since most of platform is on modded quality level.

Hello,

in the changelog, it is stated that this bug is fixed in 2.0.12.
I run 2.0.12 and for me there is still a problem with rocket requesting too many items of the same kind.
See attached screenshot, 400 Red Circuit Boars are requested but on the ground station 1000 are requested, this can be seen in the "On the Way"/"Auf dem Weg"(German for "On the way") section in the tooltip.

This is related to the minimum payload amount and is working as intended. If you want less items, you can set "custom minimum payload" for individual requests, but please note you will be "wasting" rockets because they will launch mostly empty.

The storage container is filled with various items by robots up to its maximum capacity. Can’t the rocket be filled in the same way? If I only require 10 belts and 10 pipes, why are two rockets being used when everything could fit into one?

Having mixed payloads makes things more complex, so we decided to implement it this way. It is a valid feature request though and Ideas and Suggestions is just the right forum for it. At the moment, our priority is to fix bugs, but we'll get to community suggestions eventually.

A solutin for me was to disable the "logistic request" but to read the orbitale request and set filters to a requester box.
But you have to launch the rocket manually if it is not 100% filled.
Be careful you are not having multiple platform requesting stuff.

sadly you cannot substract the current payload first :( so you still get maybe too much.

Would be cool to read on e.g. green the request and on red the payload
