Sometimes when I try to open the Steam overlay with shift + tab Factorio just hangs. I am forced to alt tab, and send 2 SIGKILL's to quit Factorio since 1 isn't enough for some reason. Sounds keeps working fine. Just unable to get back into the game. This has been happening to me for a couple of weeks now atleast. It also doesn't happen every single time. For example the log down below, it happened like 1 minute into the game. Other times I can play hours without a problem.
I am honestly not sure how to reproduce it. For me when it happends its just open steam overlay and it might happen.
Note I have changed the log file to remove the servers IP and password. Nothing else has been changed.
I am playing on Linux.
Arch Linux with kernel version 6.7.4-arch1-1.
Nvidia GPU 3080
Driver Nvidia-open 545.29.06-18
Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
X11 with KDE Plasma

It happened again. This time when I recived an achievement which makes the steam overlay pop up. Included is the logfile and I also make a small video on how it looks when it gets stuck. It doesn't look like the logs says much. It just says I received the notification and thats it so not sure how usefull it is.

Edit 1:
I was playing with a friend on my server. She also crashed. We are not 100% sure when excacly but I suspect when I started Factorio again because she should have gotten the Steam pop-up about me playing Factorio now. But again, we are not 100% sure if this is the case. She also runs Arch Linux.

It happened today again. My friend and I crashed at the same time this time. As far as I could see we both didn't get any steam overlay pop-up this time. Also in the log there isn't anything interresting. Is there a log with more details available that I could give?

The SIGINT and SIGTERM and probably because I shut Factorio down trough steam.
Since we both crash at the same time I suspect it isn't a hardware issue. We both have very different hardware:
3080vs1070
AMD 7800x3d vs intel i5-6400
Only things in common is the distro, both Arch Linux.

Looking at the server logs it looks like we didn't crash at the same time but she crashed once I joined the server again.

Well it only happens with Factorio, and since my friend also has the same issue even tho differant hardware. She also only has this problem with Factorio.

Are they also running Linux? MMmmh, yes she is. Then I guess it has just been bad luck for us with factorio, thanks!
