[Not a bug] Research Without access to science pack

Currently I'm stuck researching Lab Effectivity 1 and I don't think I'm able to make the Science Packs I need for it. I've loaded 100 of packs 1 & 2 in and it still isn't doing anything. Destroying the lab isn't allowing me to reset it. I think the only way may be to have monsters destroy it and make a new one.

Edit: Tried it and it did nothing. Still stuck researching Lab Effectivity 1.

Probably a good idea to upload your save file.

How do I do that? I went to attach files and it would only let me upload one not the whole save folder.

You can compress the folder (zip, rar or 7zip) and then it will be just one file.

But now that I read the problem again, can't you just press T and set another research?

-_- Yes I can, thank you. I'll still upload the file just to show that it allows you to research things when you can't get what you need for the research.

Lab Effectivity I needs science pack 3s as well. Have you tried changing your research by pressing T?

Edit: Ah, I see what you're getting at now, you literally can't make science packs required for the research but can still try researching.

This is not a bug. We don't want to disallow researching something dependent on science packs you can't make.
There might be situations where you can't create the science pack, but you can obtain it differently, like custom scenarios, coop/pvp multiplayer, trade or other stuff we can't even imagine now.
