[1.1.80] Graphic issue, flickering, tearing, only Factorio

I'm having an issue on my HP Omen laptop that's similar to this, but not exactly. I don't have my laptop with me at the moment but my Factorio is through Steam, updated to latest Steam version. My laptop has a 3070ti, Intel Iris Xe, and Windows 11.

My laptop screen will randomly flip out when playing Factorio, and only Factorio. It happens in both fullscreen and windeowed mode and it affects everything, including Windows (task bar, etc). Sometimes it's only the bottom half of my screen, sometimes it's the whole screen, sometimes it's random boxes. Most of the time I can stop the graphical issue by pressing the start menu, but that doesn't always work. There are some things I can do to stop the problem, but I can't figure out why these actions make it stop.

- Plug my laptop into an external monitor HDMI to HDMI, I do not have the problem at all on either monitor.
- Plug my laptop into an external monitor HDMI to DVI, the problem happens on my laptop screen but not the external monitor.
- Update either my nVidia driver or my Intel gfx drivers, the problem stops for a few days but eventually comes back.
- Pull up the special settings menu, "the rest", and the problem stops and does not happen until I close it then it comes back.

I don't have sprites rendering over things or other graphical issues that I'm able to record with a screen recorder. I've tried but the problem isn't recorded. This is only happening in Factorio. I've tried many other games including sprite based games with lots of movement and color. I've also ran a Time Spy stress test and saw no issues and no issues reported.

Microsoft Basic Render Driver is still listed as adapter, I'd remove all graphic drivers and reinstall the latest ones.
