Please, can we have, in a future update or in the upcoming DLC, a better map generation where we can adjust the resources to be created even further from each other? Because, from what we have now, it's not enough to really force the player to explore for resources.
The ore patches, even with the minimum frequency, are very abundant in a way you dont really need to bother exploring the map.
I think it's not a difficult thing to implement, given that you already have the algorithm, you guys just need to adjust it a little bit.
And I know there's a mod for this, but I really want it to be in the vanilla game.

Considering the wide range of value possibilities for these, the best idea I can think of at the moment is for the devs to add an "advanced" checkbox that when checked will replace the sliders with custom input fields. This should, hopefully, allow the best of all worlds.
