Hey,
During either LAN or Online games the person who doesn’t host have big latency while selecting item.
Any chance we can coop without this lag ?
Cheers !
[Nintendo Switch] COOP Latency
Re: [Nintendo Switch] COOP Latency
Similar problem here. My wife is playing on pc, I'm playing on Switch. There's a few seconds latency between the two even though we're playing over LAN.
PC is hosting the game. The port is forwarded to the PC. Any suggestions what we're missing or how to troubleshoot would be very welcome!

Post the screenshot (you can take it with your phone if this is difficult in the switch) as requested here: 68653, make sure to activate precisely those debug settings and no other. To activate the debug overlay on the switch you need to bind the keys for it first.

Hello Loewchen,
First or all, thank you for the assist! Perhaps something's going wrong on our end, but please find the screenshot attached. We're doing cross platform multiplayer where the game is hosted on our pc.
Thank you for any suggestions you may have!

Re: [Nintendo Switch] COOP Latency
Do the numbers you see for "buffers: 2/0/1" and "jumps: 0" stay at low/single digit numbers, or are they jumping widely around?
Do you connect via the Browse public games menu, the Browse LAN games menu or the Connect to address menu?

Re: [Nintendo Switch] COOP Latency
The numbers stay single digit. It's mainly latency that varies from low numbers up to 100+.
We're connecting through the LAN games menu.

Re: [Nintendo Switch] COOP Latency
That is strange. The only cause for high latency that I can think of is if you have interference on your wifi, but that should have also caused spikes on the buffers and jumps numbers. It would help if you could provide a logfile from the server running with the --verbose option turned on.
To turn --verbose on in the steam version of the game right click the Factorio in the library, select properties..., scroll down in the general tab and add --verbose to the launch options.
To turn --verbose on in the standalone version of the game create a shortcut to the executable which is under bin\x64\factorio.exe then right click and select properties of the shortcut and in the "Target:" box add a space after factoio.exe and then add --verbose to it so that it reads ...in\x64\factorio.exe --verbose at the end.
