Can't get Cross-Platform Multiplayer to Work with Switch

Have played Factorio on PC for years... just got the Switch copy of Factorio so the Mrs can play too.

Neither the Switch nor the PC can see the other.... Tried LAN connection and Public... nothing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Need help, please!

Most likely reason is, that the version on your PC is 1.1.70 while the switch is on 1.1.69. Best method to go around this issue is downloading the standalone 1.1.69 from https://www.factorio.com/download/archive/1.1.69. You can also roll back the installation in steam but you will temporarily lose your blueprint library see here.

Loewchen for the win! That's what it was! I had to get off of Steam and install the older version (thanks for the link) to make it work. They need to fix that ASAP for the new Switch folks.
