Crashing while trying to set custom Map Setting (V1.1.68)

ive been trying to edit the settings on a map exchange string that ive found to accommodate my play style and every no and then the game freezes then doesn't respond then crashes and then i have to force quit the Game and try again but it continues to crash - tested with n without mods and it just seems to like crashing on me

but i cant seem to find the log file i look in the %appdata% Factorio File but it doesnt seem to be there

Just found the Factorio-Current.log file after some research

That log file doesn't contain a crash. Can you reproduce the crash with the custom map settings and then upload that log file?

Looking at both of those log files there isn't any crash or error in them. So unless you can make the game crash (the pop-up saying an unexpected error has occurred) there's unfortunately nothing we can do.

when it "crashes" it does the Factorio has stopped working and a white out and then it force closes
