Edit: Not a bug. Waiting trains are supposed to increase the path finding penalty of their block every tick.

I have two train stops with the same name (transfer 1-1-1) and train limit of 1, and one train stop with a different name (refuel and wait). They are in a short two-way rail network, and two trains with same schedule moving between the two train stops.
Probably because of intended pathfinding rules, the trains always target the lower transfer station without a loop, even if the other train is blocking the path to that station. Which results in a deadlock. So far so good.

But somehow the train trying to move to the transfer station and sitting at a blue chain signal decides to move to the other and not blocked transfer station after several minutes of waiting.
For my situation this behaviour is kind of usefull, but since I couldn't find any information about why this is happening, and the waiting time seems to differ from layout to layout, I am trying my luck with a bug report.

In this case it takes a bit over 5 minutes for the train to suddenly change its target. This layout is a simplified version of the layout on which I actually run into that problem the first time. In the old layout it took the train around 3 minutes to change its target station.
