can someone help me, I have this error upon launch that generates a crash report. I am unable to join my friend and play the game, I was able to do so yesterday, but today it just doesn't try.
i have done nothing to the game files, I have 0 mods, I have reinstalled the game twice and have disabled the steam overlay, but that doesn't do anything

Looks like it's crashing between creating the sound thread and loading the logitech stuff. Considering how the crash report is mixed in with the rest of the log, I'm guessing your sound thread is crashing for some reason.
Update your sound drivers and restart your PC and see if that makes a difference. There's an option in the config to change the audio backend but no idea if that'd help, since the only options are default and sdl.
