[0.11.22] Save File Deleted

I had played the demo and made several saves. Yesterday I bought Factorio, downloaded it, played for a while and then saved the game. When I came back today, I can only find the saves from the demo games and everything from last night seems to have completely disappeared. Last night when I was saving, I didn't see any of the demo saves present in the list of save files.

Are you using the zip version or the installer?

I think that's true however both versions of the game show the same list of saved games. Last night I played and when I saved, I saw the list of my saved demo games. I've passed where I was before, so recovering the data isn't important but fixing the bug still is. I've looked in both of the saved games folders under AppData and both locations have my saved demo games, so I think my demo games somehow overwrote my other game.

Are you sure that you didn't run the demo by accident?
What system do you use?
Can you post the log file?

Did you use the installer for the demo as well? The installer should automatically uninstall the demo file.

The save folder of the demo and the game is the same.
