Stumped. refinery's will not function.

I am playing 12.1
my refinery's will run only briefly when they are first placed, then they stop and do not run again.
my refinery's are being fed from 100 crude oil storage tanks. light ,heavy and petroleum gas each have 50 storage tanks (empty) hooked up to the refinery outputs.
nothing is happening I am totally stumped. I have prepared a zip of my savegame and all the mods associated with the game to upload but that is not working either.
once I figure out a file host I will link to the file.
please please load my save game and see if you can tell me what the heck is wrong with my setup.

I have looked under controlls and do see a screen capture button or controll, how do I take a screen shot of the game ?

You have light oil in the pipe to ground for heavy oil that goes from refinery to storage tanks.
Also, the second refinery isn't connected for heavy oil and the rightmost refinery also has light oil in the heavy oil output.



I've fixed all this and it has been running for 10 minutes now with no problems.

If you don't find a place to put all three outputs, the refinery will stall. You can open the refinery up and if any of the outputs are stuck inside, then it needs to be fixed.

I have got it working, basically I shotgunned the problem. removed every piece of pipe in the setup and laid it back down.

I've found it just like bobucles described in his post above. I looked at the refinery and there were 9 heavy oil in the output, but none of the other outputs. So I traced the output line for heavy oil to the tanks and found the underground pipe with light oil in it. To empty a pipe the easiest solution is to remove it and place it again. For some reason I've had to remove the underground pipe twice until it worked.
Then I had three refineries working. I added the pipe for the 2nd refinery and then removed and added the pipe for the rightmost refinery. Then all of them worked.

Always look at the output of the refineries and see which item is still in there, then trace the pipes to their destination. Every pipe can only have one fluid in it and won't accept another fluid. Having a pipe with 1 light oil in your heavy oil setup will make the whole setup break.
