congrats on wedding.
tshirts? HELLS YES!
id defently get the sprite thingy n if a shirt had this picture on it http://i.imgur.com/xnh7rOV.jpg , it be a sure sell aswell
i for one have no issues whatsoever waitin a bit more for more stable release, its one of the reasons i loved factorio from the start, even in my early alpha release days (early this year) its for the most part been always solid. so my vote is in for a delay over release with bugs any day of the week

Cheers for the wedding preparations :)

I think it's a good idea to wait to have a finished product, but the propositions of having a single player release are good, even if they take time to setup, launch and test (one more week of waiting ? :) )
T-shirt idea : the player with many robot with this quote "Fly my minions !" (I think it's RootNegative's one)

Oh and...

Well technically, it will be 5 days I guess.

Like in a traffic jam, being bitter doesn't make things go faster.
Just be patient, and like you say, you can play other games, or still the current alpha, with all the mods.

Hello

Just an idea about the t-shirt,
I don't really fancy the loading bar style : too much already done, with everything, and I think it doesn't fit the factorio spirit

I think it should represent more the game, something more smart, logical, or about settler, etc....

You can add a sentence like
"You don't like handworking ? Factorioze it !"
with a picture of a crossed manual tool replaced with a inserter or something representing automatization

hope you like my idea !
And thanks for your constant good work !

He actually says he doesn't know how long it'll take to fix these particular bugs; therefor it could take many weeks. :-s

Well, to be honest, it's not as if I were going to throw myself wholeheartedly into 12.0 and play it like mad, anyway. My plan was always to wait for at least 12.1 and more likely 12.2 or 12.3, although since I only got on board at some point after 11.0 (or at least I have no recollection of alpha 11.0 which I would have had had I started prior to 11.0) I don't have any feel for how buggy new Factorio integer alphas are.

It's just, based on my experience with 7 Days to Die, any alpha x.0 is going to be at least mildly frustrating to play.

Still... I'm so horny for more control over my factory...

T-Shirt Idea: Factorio:Squashing bugs(with a single or multiple biter corpses around the shirt. Or a biter coming out of the cog hole just for that addition) Also gratz on the wedding! :D

Toiski wrote:For the T-shirt ideas (without the loading bar):

1) "I'll optimize this later" (including the quotes)

2) Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate (where the 4x genre name comes from - really fits this game)

3) Build a machine to build robots that construct solar cells that power the machine.
The first one basically had me
The second one would be also worth it, becaus it represents, what factorio is about and the third one could be made into a cycle like those recycling marks.

To the delay:
Well, I would have been happy, if 0.12 came out last friday, but it's always better to have a version, which is more or less bug-free. Take your time, I can and will wait.

Until then, i will do my LP series :)

At the end of the week they will find out that a reallife Bug has peed on their networkswitch. Not a bug in Code, but a bug on their Hardware are causing the desyncs. :)

btw. i would like to see a beltbelt instead of a T-Shirt :)

You guys should prolly postpone another week to have a better gameplay experience, but no further than that.

Networks delaying (even dropping) packets are just regular networks, that is what lag is. If networks didn't do that desyncs wouldn't be a problem and devs wouldn't have to worry about “hiding” lag.

Oh look, an island.

I'd love to see community created blueprints on the tshirts. Like the 5 assemblers for making electronic circuits, solar field setups, or a chain of assemblers making inserters.

I want that island shirt! :D Also, I agree, I think having community blueprint designs on shirts would be awesome. Could get pretty creativity and probably intrigue anyone looking at the short. :p
