Pesky inserters loading your trains too slowly? Not enough storage space? AeroTech Storage brings you crates! After doing the requisite research, crates can be loaded and unloaded in assembling machines. Simply set the recipe and supply the machine with a wooden chest and a stack of the item and it will be loaded into the crate. Items that can be loaded into crates currently include wood, ores, and plates.

Each crate holds an entire stack of items, and a stack of crates holds ten crates, meaning only a tenth as much storage is required and inserters effectively transport items approximately 100 times as fast (depending on stack sizes). Note that when the crate is emptied, the wooden chest is lost, so this mod works best in combination with a mod with renewable wood.

If you find a bug or would like items from another mod added, feel free to let me know in a comment or add it as an issue to the github (preferred). Please limit these items to base resources (e.g. ores) and directly processed resources (e.g. plates).

Planned features:

• Item crates for the most frequently used intermediates (maybe)
• Drum recipes for more liquids
• Tank recipes for storing gases
• A smaller machine for crate/drum/tank recipes
• Config option to keep the chest after uncrating items
