Guys, asteroids are in a stable orbit. The rocks that occasionally crash into offices are called meteorites. Or pavement stones, if there is some rioting going on, but I'm sure no responsible rioter would do that to the creators of an awesome game like Factorio.
OS: Linux Mint 19 x64 | desktop: Awesome 4.2 | Intel Core i5 8600k | 16GB DDR4 | NVidia GTX 1050 Ti (driver version: 410.104) (2019-03)

As a player, the wait is just agonizing! I know you guys are keeping up the good work though.
What are the developers' thought on rolling releases ala Firefox and Chrome?
As a player, I love to see more frequent releases, but on the other hand the reward must be smaller because they don't pile on due to rolling releases. Ultimately though, I just want moooooaaaaar stuff.

I suppose debris from a sufficiently violent car crash in the street below is also a possibility.Gandalf wrote:Guys, asteroids are in a stable orbit. As long as you guys don't get attacked by biters and spitters…

I am also agonized by this one week delay and was hoping to try it all out today. :-s
Oh well, get it done right, rather then fast.

Little proposal - maybe give 0.12 experimental version to modmakers so when it will be ready, our favorite mods already will be compatible ^^

Man I must admit I am disappointed that the release isn't today, but I would rather wait another week and have it done right. Super excited though! The part about ALT tabbing and resizing is a bit concerning though, sense personally I atl-tab all the time. :/
Does it happen every time, or just on occasion?

It happens with specific graphic settings. The default ones I haven't had it happen once.Xterminator wrote:Man I must admit I am disappointed that the release isn't today, but I would rather wait another week and have it done right. Update looks great guys (and girl )!
One question though - will I need to start a new world for it to see all the features?

If you're using mods certainly, i think not one mod will be function.
With a pure base mape you could be lucky.

Just count on playing a week or three on a new vanilla map until the bigger bugs are solved and the modders had time to adapt.
If there are maps you want to keep, take a lot of backups before loading them in 12
Good idea on expanding on the PR side
