Water setting changes the terrain badly

I set my water to "Only At Starting Area" Which is nice but when I do so the whole map looks ugly:

Please fix this, it does take away from the game

You can just restart game until you get better looking map.

IMHO not really a bug. Though our map generation could be tweak to avoid situations on the second picture. But that is more of a feature than a bug.
