[0.11.22] Can't download scenarios today, but I could y'day

Post by javimm »

Hi.
New to the forums and Factorio.
Before going to the problem, I should say that I'm using a dual boot machine with Windows 8.1 and Linux Mint 17.
I purchased the game with the scenario pack yesterday, and proceeded to install it on Linux (at about 23:30 Europe time). Everything went fine. After installing and logging in, the game automatically downloaded the scenario pack and I could see them in the game. I have a problem using a scenario, but I will detail it later.
I tried to install it today in my Win partition (at about 18:30 europe time), and after running the game, it didn't install the scenario pack. Going to Check updates gives no results either. I booted Linux again and unzipped the game to another folder, and the game doesn't download the pack either. I guess it's some kind of problem with the server.
If I check the option for experimental upgrades the game tells it has the packs, version 0.10.1 available to download but fails with a 404 error: No matching package.
The logs:
Windows log (no scenarios downloaded):

The other problem I'd like to mention is about the three scenarios I managed to download yesterday in the Linux version. I have two of the three scenarios listed in Play, Start Campaign menu: scenario-pak\Transport belt madness and scenario-pak\Tight spot. The other scenario doesn't show up here. I can find it in Custom Scenario as scenario-pak\supply, but launching it says __level__/control.lua:8: LuaGameScript doesn't contain key gettext and doesn't load the scenario.
This is the log for this problem:

I've got the same problem. Below is the log when I changed to experimental downloads (somewhere along 11.434). It then found the packs, but 404'd on em.

Can confirm that scenario pack downloading is not working.

On 0.11.22 x64 zip for Windows:

With experimental updates enabled:

Log is the same as jeroon's post above.

EDIT:
I just checked on my installer version that was updated continuously since early 0.11.x.
The version of scenario pack there is 0.11.16, and not 0.10.1 as screenshot above says.
Image

It might be that the scenario pack wasn't properly changed when they made the 0.11.22 stable.
After removing the scenario pack from this version, I get the same results as with the zip version.

Hi, these were three different bugs in our latest website changes (0.10.1 marked as last version instead of 0.11.16, needing experimental updates to get scenario pack, and finally the 404 error). All of them should be fixed now.

First time trying to update I get this error after it fetched all the packs.

After a second try it seems to download and update just fine. Not sure what went wrong there.
