[0.11.20] Burner Inserter occasionally deletes items

Hello,

when I have coal and wood on the same belt and use Burner Inserters to put it into boilers, the wood/coal sometimes disappers. Right now I didn't reproduce it to find the exact conditions. I think it's like "the Burner runs on its last wood, the boiler runs on coal and coal is on the belt", or some other confusing combination . Probably it's the procedure that decides whether the Burner should insert it into itself or into the boiler.


Want me to try to reproduce it and find a minimum example?

Burner inserter will consume held item if low on fuel.

Nope. It doesn't appear inside the Burner, it just vanishes.

Do you have any mods installed? Can you reproduce it without mods?

Does the burner keep the auto-inserted fuel in its slot?
I suspect it might immediately burn it for energy.

It only puts another item inside itself when it needs refuel, so it consumes right away.. Now if they do an animation of placing the item over itself, then something is wrong.

We had bug report like this already, it was related to some of the mods. Let me know if this happens in unmodded game, putting to not a bug until then.

Yes it was with the F-Mod. I reproduced it, save attached. Used mods are only Base Mod, Scenario Pack, Fmod and Treefarm-Lite.

I'm fine with it as it only occurs in modded games. When I deactivate all mods (except Base and Scenario, of course) and load the same save file, it's all fine.

You need to get in touch with the mod owner and tell them about it, the devs only fix bugs caused by unmodded factorio.

To make it more precise, the mod just has programmed feature, that it removes the item. So it is not bug of Factorio but programmed behaviour of the mod.
