OS X Yosemite, build 13860.
(Since 0.10.x doesn't work on Yosemite, I don't think there is currently a version of the game where I can play the scenario pack. Is that right?)

You have experimental version of Factorio and disabled experimental updates. If you enable experimental updates, the scenario pack will update to 0.11.16 and should work without any problems.
We'll be fixing some of the user interface issues around updater now, to have it ready when 0.11.x becomes stable.
