I'm hoping this meets with other peoples thinking as well. I'm getting very frustrated in my current game where I have the production of all items that I need automated. The problem I run into is I need 1 chemical plant, 20 pieces of pipe, 10 underground pipes + a few other items. I request the items and get 10 chemical plants, 50 pipe, 50 underground pipe + full stacks of the other items.
It is really frustrating and I have to keep dropping down active provider chests to empty out all the extra items. This is also a bit problem when I'm setting up automated production using logistics. I set the chest to use 25 Red circuits, 50 green etc. and as before I get stuck with full stacks. Yet again I get the joy of emptying out the extras with active providers to get to the proper levels.
All I request is set the initial request amount to be 1 item and you just set the value you want, the other idea here would be it doesn't start sending items until you press confirm or something to update your changes. Either option would be preferred to the current model.
Am I the only one that finds this "feature" frustrating compared to the old model?
Hoping enough agree with me to get this changed (and yes Ssilk I know this has been talked about in some post somewhere before ).
Logistic Requests set back to 1 by default

I am not ssilk, but let me say - if you know it has been discussed before, why not join the previous discussions?Marconos wrote:Hoping enough agree with me to get this changed (and yes Ssilk I know this has been talked about in some post somewhere before ).

And a quick search also yielded a mod to change this back:

Thanks sillyfly.
I'm playing with the thought to join it to the suggestion thread, but that would just complicate stuff, so I leave it here, even if it is not about balancing.

Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.
