There are several options:
A) replace the belts where you painted the blue arrows on (not those the arrows pointing to) with blue belt.
B) replace the whole line (DaveMacW suggested)
C) create a balancer before that , see https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... s/Balancer
D) think about redesign, cause a half belt can only transport half of the items.
E) live with it.

The balancer seems to somewhat fix the problem.
Redesign is most probably not far away tho.
