This is my science pack setup. Best I've come up with so far. follows the standard 5:6:12 red:green:blue ration for factories. they keep 16 science factories w/ all efficiency research working - after I fixed the smary inserter bottleneck anyway. its fed by a single red belt for copper and iron each (blue corners). 36 steel factories feed each belt.

oh, the boilers are a mod. 4x pollution, 2x heat speed 90% efficient

thoughts? suggestions?

if I'm correct, you've got not enough boilers. 14 of them for 10 engines.

You are correct. 7-10 is not a good ratio.

The boilers are modded - see OP - 7 keeps the engines running just fine.
