Disconnect wires from any buildings with Shift+LMB

Post by robotolev »

TL;DR
Allow to disconnect logic wires from any buildings, not only from power poles.

What?
If you use a shortcut (i.e. Shift+LMB, like when you disconnect wires from a power pole), logic wires get disconnected from a building you've interacted with.
Possibly it could work only when a "logic wire mode" is activated, if there are any reasons it shouldn't be available all the time.
Why?
Currently it is not possible to disconnect logic wires of an object in any way except rebuilding said object.
That is inconvenient and inconsistent with power pole wire logic.

Shift+LMB sounds like something that's too easy to misclick for it to affect every building. I prefer having it so that, if you're holding a green/red wire and you do Shift+LMB, then it'll disconnect the wires of that color from the building.

Also, I think it would be useful if it treated the input and output sides of a combinator separately. So you can disconnect the inputs but not the outputs and vice-versa.

Definitely NEVER accept this. Shift LMB is the shortcut to paste recipes, which is already commonly used. Introducing this will definitely cause a huge conflict.
