-What did you do?
I set up a space platform with a logistic request for an item (e.g. blue chips) from a planet (e.g. Nauvis). On the planet there are logistic networks with rocket silos, one of them contains the requested items in storage but has 0 logistic bots.
-What happened?
The platform assigns the request to the rocket silo in the network with 0 bots. Since there are no bots, the items are never delivered to the silo, the rocket is never loaded, and the platform waits for the delivery indefinitely.
-What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
1) not request items from a logistic network that has no bots
2) redirect later the request to another logistic network with a rocket silo that can fulfill it
-Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Always.
If this is intentional behavior (which is quite strange), a more informative message on the platform (or anywhere else) would be very helpful. I spent a long time trying to figure out why items weren't being sent from the planet to the platform.
Thanks.

Re: [Genhis][2.1.18] Platform requests items from silo in logistics network with 0 bots
I believe that if rocket launch silos are not within the service area of logistics robots, automatic requesting should actually be disabled.
Essentially, it should still be a cargo container, so it will check if it's within the logistics network, but like the cargo container, it won't check if there are logistics drones within the network.
However, shouldn't a warning, similar to "lacking construction drones," be sent here if the logistics network lacks logistics drones to process the cargo?
Another issue is that the Inserter cannot directly drop the three raw materials for rocket parts into the cargo hold as goods.

English is not my native language. I use a translator to communicate.

Thanks for the report, this was changed for 2.1.21. Logistic networks with no logistic robots won't accept platform requests.
