On a Lamp connected to a circuit network, when checking "Use colors" and selecting "Color mapping" the tooltip says "Color is based on provided color signals."
Two things:
First: Naturally the colors need to have a hierarchy over one another, because if all are provided with a value of "1", something has to be picked. Then what I, as a user would expect is that the colors are ordered how they are appearing in the menu, like:
red -> green -> blue -> cyan -> pink -> yellow -> white -> grey -> black
however, the actual order is:
red -> green -> blue -> yellow -> pink -> cyan -> white -> grey -> black
with yellow/pink/cyan flipped
Second: When a lamp receives multiple color signals at different values, I would expect the lamp to pick the color of the highest value. a 1M green still gets overwritten by 1 red.
(negative values being ignored entirely is intentional, I'm not complaining about those)

This part is not a duplicate of the report you posted Loewchen.untitled7 wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 7:08 pm Then what I, as a user would expect is that the colors are ordered how they are appearing in the menu, like:

Text quickly seems cold and unfriendly. Be careful how you write and interpret what others have written.

Re: [2.1.17] Lamp color mapping (unexpected behaviour)
Version 2.0.34 swapped the position of Yellow and Cyan in the sort order in the Data. There is probably an if..else if..else if block in the Code that decides the precedence of Colors which was not updated to match.
Re: [2.1.17] Lamp color mapping (unexpected behaviour)
Thanks for the report, fixed for 2.1.18 (by changing the order in the GUI, circuit behaviour stays the same).
