sir look I don't want to be rude here I was genuinely asking you to open the game code since the 2.1 is the last release.
and apologies any wrong sentence I said in my previous thread if you don't want to... then I won't bother either since the game is still proprietary.

One the main benefits to open source is to allow a community of people to maintain and improve the codebase. In this situation, Factorio is largely a finished product that works incredibly well and has an incredibly small number of remaining bugs that Wube seems to tackle quickly. I don't see the point of even wanting Factorio to be open source.

In case someone wanted to megabase on a RISC-V laptop a decade later, they'd want to rebuild factorio natively. It wasn't pleasant megabasing on an Asahi Linux laptop for me, before the 2.1 ARM64 Linux port.
