So, given this mod list, when I go to the kpyimba mod, and click on the dependencies, they go to the wrong mod (each time this happens I mouseover the name on the video).

This bug is elusive. I tried making the mod list the smallest I could but many times the error stopped happening. I managed to at least reduce the modlist to like less than 50%.

Something I did notice is that sometimes the bug would not happen, and deleting some mods from the folder would make the bug reappear.

I have also noticed this too, although its random, but i always had to go back to the mod before and do it again and it works.... sometimes...
