Describe the problem by answering these questions
What did you do?
- Copy/Cut and pasted two connected infinity pipes, where one has assigned a liquid
What happened?
- After pasting, no liquid will flow (visually or functionally), however, there will be audio of flowing liquid
What did you expect to happen instead?
- Visual and functional liquid immediately after pasting, not only audio
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
- Always
If you can reproduce the issue, provide the exact steps!
- New world, enter editor mode
- Ensure time is running (not paused)
- Put down an infinity pipe
- Assign any liquid
- Put down a second infinity pipe to the LEFT of the previous pipe, connected to it
- Liquid will flow from the first infinity pipe to the newly placed infinity pipe, observations:
- alt-mode icon shows the flowing liquid on both pipes
- tooltip displays the flowing liquid on both pipes
- flowing liquid audio
- Copy (or Cut) the two pipes together, then paste them down
- No liquid flows, observations:
- alt-mode icon shows no liquid on either pipe
- tooltip display no liquid on either pipe
- FLOWING LIQUID AUDIO

Re: [2.1.17] Infinity pipe not working when copy/pasted
Thanks for the report. There is nothing actionable here. You have multiple infinity pipes in the same segment, one producing fluid and one voiding fluid. What you get is based on which one of them updates last.

Thanks boskid. Didn't know the ordering matters. Appreciate the response!boskid wrote: Fri Aug 28, 2026 7:09 pm Thanks for the report. There is nothing actionable here.
