A humble request regarding Regional Pricing for Turkey

Hi everyone,

I’m a high school student from Turkey who is deeply involved in robotics and autonomous vehicle projects. Naturally, Factorio’s focus on automation, logistics, and systems engineering absolutely captivated me. It really is a masterpiece of a game.

I wanted to open a respectful discussion about the current Steam pricing for Factorio in Turkey. For years, the game was priced at 50 TL, which made it highly accessible to the Turkish player base. However, the current price is $17.00 USD(850TL). Given the local economic conditions and extreme exchange rates, this is unfortunately very steep for gamers here—especially for students like me.

I noticed that in regions experiencing similar economic challenges, like Ukraine, the game is currently priced around $6.70 USD.

I sent an email to Wube about this recently (I know they are incredibly busy, so I completely understand why I haven't heard back yet), but I wanted to bring it up here to see if the community could share their thoughts.

It would mean the world to the Turkish community if Wube could reconsider the regional pricing and bring it closer to other similar regions.
