It looks like the deconstruction planner is using the count reported by the underground entrance for both the entrance and exit when adding up item content.
I have an underground that is fully saturated with unstacked items. the total is 16 items, confirmed by having an inserter empty after disconnecting the belt filling it.
But when i highlight with the deconstruction planner it reports 24
With a longer underground it becomes clear what is happening, its counting the exit as having the same number of items as the entrance.
1. What did you do?
I was testing belt storage layouts and was using the deconstruction planner to count the number of items in the undergrounds
2. What happened?
it was reporting (# of items - 4) * 2 instead of the # of items in the undergrounds. Actually deconstructing resulted in the correct number in storage.
3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected it to count the items correctly.
4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Happens every time

Thanks for the report. This is now fixed for the next release.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
