Greetings,
I'm running Debian Trixie with an Intel A770 graphics card. I suspect this specific combination is causing the problem because when I had an AMD or Nvidia GPU in this host, 2.0+Space Age worked just fine. (Unfortunately both of those GPUs have now died and I can't afford to replace them.)
factorio-current.log is attached. Is there any more information I can provide that would be helpful?
Thanks,
Nap

Thanks for the report however I don't believe there's anything here for us to fix. The issue is likely with the Intel GPU drivers and completely outside of our control.
The engine itself doesn't do anything different when interacting with any given GPU driver on a given system - it just calls the GPU functions and expects things to work.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

You can capture dump of crashed Factorio and something like inxi report and send both over to Factorio developers AND Intel tech support. To Factorio developers because their app is crashed and whatever the cause it's a good move to keep them in touch. To Intel because Factorio crashes started since you started to use Intel GPU.naptastic wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2026 6:48 pm Is there any more information I can provide that would be helpful?
