Allow modded Landing Pad Unloading Bay to unload from Space Platform Hub

The Landing Pad Unloading Bay can currently only unload from the Cargo Landing Pad prototype, but should be modified to be able to unload from the Space Platform Hub prototype for mods that modify the unloading bay to be buildable in space.

Given you can insert into the hub and extract with the unloading bay - this is functionally item teleportation. Mods can already do that with a linked container or proxy container if they want to allow teleporting items.

That is true, though it could still be a useful feature for things like modded cargo pads.

If it's true for vanilla it's true for mods. Meaning mods can still do the proxy option

I don't see how that's relevant? The problem here is that if landing pad unloading bays are allowed to be put on space platforms, it won't work with space platform hubs. What I think the OP is asking for is a way to allow extraction from cargo bays when on a space platform.

Yes, its currently impossible, and while adding it directly to vanilla would allow item teleportation, mods could use it and disable putting items into a space platform hub to match cargo landing pad behaviour on planets.

Currently this is not possible, as only the cargo bay landing pad is able to interact with the unloading bay.
