  • Added LuaEntity::request_missing_construction_materials read/write.
  • Added LuaEntity::providing_to_other_platforms read/write.
  • Added LuaEntityPrototype::show_fluid_visualization_when_in_cursor read.
  • Added LuaPin.
  • Changed LuaPlayer::add_pin() to return LuaPin.
  • Added LuaPlayer::get_pins() and clear_pins().
Previous changelog: Version 2.1.9

New versions are released as experimental first and later promoted to stable. If you wish to switch to the experimental version on Steam, choose the experimental Beta Participation option under game settings; on the stand-alone version, check Experimental updates under Other settings.

I've already created a mod based on this, and Remote View is MUCH better to use now!

Okay I've been playing around with the new LuaPlayer::toggle_menu_leaves_remote_view function, and it turns out it doesn't work properly if you're inside a space platform.

When the value is set to FALSE, escape will open and close the menu as it should most of the time, but if you're currently on board a space platform, pressing Escape will always switch back to the players view (which is a remote view of their platform) instead of opening the menu. Seeing as how the Remote View key already does this, Escape should show the menu properly in these cases like it does normally.

EDIT: I reported this as a bug and it was classed as "not a bug" despite very obviously being a bug. Oh well, what can you do...
